As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in PDF, OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Prospective authors should kindly format their papers according to the following guidelines:

  1. Manuscripts must be submitted in English (UK).
  2. Manuscripts should range between 5000 and 7000 words.
  3. Manuscripts should be uploaded in MS-Word format using Times Roman font size 12, single line spacing.
  4. Abstracts should be italicised.
  5. The title of the manuscript, as well as subtitles, should be in the sentence case and in font size 12.
  6. A manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract (150-200 words maximum) and keywords.
  7. All submitted articles must be completely anonymous. The paper, at the point of submission, should not have any information relating to the author(s) to ensure the double-blind peer review standard of the journal.
  8. Images, posters, maps, diagrams, and figures should be placed within the paper and numbered correctly. Such images should be clear.
  9. Manuscripts containing plagiarism will not be considered for publication in the journal. Papers should be duly referenced, and all in-text references should be listed in the references section.
  10. References should be done using the APA Referencing System, 7th Edition.
